Does anyone know the status of the Via lawsuit? I haven't been following the status of this.

I think the lawsuit involves Via chipsets, not their upcoming microprocessors. I am not sure how hard Intel has been pushing the case, because the presence of Via chipsets helped avoid embarrassment of having no mid-range chipset offering for the market. Via actually helped Intel sell more processors.

Can you imagine if instead of (what now could be) 10s of millions of Via chipsets, Intel shipped 10s of millions of 820 chipsets with MTH? The recall would have cost billions of dollars.
