Adaptive allocation for variable bandwidth multicarrier communication

If I had to guess (And I know I will probably get flogged by the Techies here), it is a patent for gaining more efficient data transfer through the duration of the connection by monitoring the noise ratio of each sub channel throughout the connection. It seems pretty basic to me. I am not sure how big it is.

Pairs of bit allocation tables are maintained at the transmitter and receiver and one table of each pair at the transmitter and receiver is updated while the other pair is in use for controlling communication.

Got some extra fuel so I'm igniting the rocket...if only to see if we can maintain a hover. Maybe the patent item will kick in and move us on up.
