Pineapple: In the beginning, you must keep it kinda moist... don't let dry out.

It's also better to keep it out of direct sunlight...
...until it shows a little life... then you can gradually move it into sun.

Once in sun, they like a lot of water.

When watering, be sure to pour water over the top of it... right into the top leaves.
