CORRECTED,LG, I think we are going down from here.
The Bears HAVE thrown in the towel
-aside from B.Wien and B.Briggs,
-the Big One is Merrill. I am describing their pick of H.Blodget.
He continues to recommend money losing dot.coms.
Rising interest rates in Europe and Japan will not help bring in cheap goods
and keep our inflation down.

I am very concerned about Healthcare:

-the baby boomer higher spending on healthcare will be a drain
to the economy because it is non-productive.ie, 1000 negative
CAT scans for your headaches will only serve to pull money
out of equities, which at least in the past acted as currencies
for companies to invest in promising start ups. Tha tmoney will
now be less because it is going into healthcare.
-retirees may have to start selling stock in their fat pensions
because Medicare is covering everyday less and less of the costs.
Meanwhile costs are slowly climbing out of orbit.
Finally looks like if the Market goes up, there is no way that Alan will be reassured
that " The Wealth effect has disappeared ".

I believe we are in The Distribution phase of the Market:
Institutions bought at Naz 3200 and are now recommending
" buys " at 3870, PMCS at 190 ( 3 days ago ). Why didn't they
recommend PMCS when it was 138?

And finally we need to separate"
" Internet Time " from " Economy Time ". The 2nd is much slower.
It will take some time to see if this giant tanker is turning
around. It may not, ( yet ).

BTW, Gasoline is $2/gal in Chicago today,

Just my 2c
