That '68 Firebird did not have airbags, pollution controls including an expensive catalytic converter, gas mileage mandates, computer controlled ignition and a myriad other safety features, government mandates and other improvements. The gun you are comparing it to in terms of price change is essentially the same gun you could have bought in '68. The comparison is invalid.

On the other hand, look what has happened to the prices of computers, TVs, steros, VCRs, small appliances, home shop tools, etc. They are much cheaper in an inflationary market than they were a few years ago so, don't go picking on guns in that way, to attempt to prove your invalid opinions. ~H~
