The purchase increases EarthLink's presence in smaller metropolitan markets and communities across rural America -- one of the fastest growing segments of Internet users. With the completion of this acquisition, OneMain (Nasdaq: ONEM - news) has been de-listed from the Nasdaq national market. Under the terms and conditions of the transaction, OneMain shareholders will receive $5.964 in cash and .3562 of a share of EarthLink common stock for each share of OneMain common stock.
