Thanks for pointing out the heaviness of FMKT's business
model. Taking a quick glance through its March quarter's
earnings, I noticed that the number of shares tripled along
with a tripling of its revenues over the last year. Gross
margins dropped. It reminds me of how the management of
RAIN burned share holder value. Revenues shot through the
roof, financed by the sale of shares, while earnings stayed
flat.

Your early DD was right on the mark. Your summary, from back before the IPO, was exactly right. Unfortunately, many investors are not as perceptive as you. The company very effectively marketed themselves to the investing public as an Internet play, and continues to do so today. Consequently, this "old economy" consulting company is trading as an Internet B2B, but doesn't have the characteristics of an Internet company.
