Scumbria... >>Whatever Carl's motivation is, he brings more technical information to the thread than everyone else put together.<<

Is it good technical information? You know as well as I do that it is the accuracy and honesty of this information that is in question. All of the techies here are not in agreement with him. But then again why should they be, after all he has admitted to being a paid basher. While he now denies this by claiming he was just making a joke. I choose to believe his statement as fact... that he is a paid basher, and it all started with his very first bash in post #1032.

Scumbria do you still have your straddle open? I closed the puts for almost a 2 to 1 gain and I closed the calls for
a small gain.

Scumbria,

If you want to see some real Rambus bashing, check out the Intel thread.

I wouldn't call if Rambus bashing, I would call it Intel bashing. Intel put all it's eggs in one Rambus, and kept them there, despite repeated warnings that it was a potentially dangerous decision.

I don't think anyone knows what the prevailing memory will be in a couple of years, but right now it's not a good thing to be married to one technology. I think most Intel investors would like to see a trial separation from Rambus, not a divorce.
