Where is the buyback that was so much talked about?
Anyone any clue when MSFT is really eligible to start and when they will really start?

Johnd, I believe it is July 8th or so that they can started buying back their shares if they wish---6 months after that takeover of the small company back in January using "pooling of interests"--under the new rules. I understand that period expires early July.
Do you remember we had this discussion and consensus was reached that the June 8th date was inaccurate as reported in that article a while ago.

I hope that clears it up. Again as we discussed, that one story from a while ago was inaccurate.

That is why I am planning my next buy about in the next 1 to 3 weeks to get a good deal (i hope).

good luck.
