I don't think it's as simple as saying that POWER4 will win on bandwidth alone (despite what IBM's marketing department may want people to believe). The architectures of POWER4 and McKinley/870 are so different that it'll be very tough to predict performance characteristics between the two. Let's just leave it at that for now.
