I was in MSFT for the short term and lost a few bucks -- decided to bail today and cut my losses (not large). I agree with you on the long term, but I really think there is a bad attitude at MSFT which has cost them and will cost them. A long drawn out court battle will be very, very bad for MSFT -- in tech you can't have your options tied up like that. They can "win" in court, even if the ruling is overturned they lose.

hj, all this activity! Serious question: I do not believe you do this for a living. So, then it is a hobby. My observation is that st trading vs. lt investments in an upleg like this may not justify the returns. Not that it doesn't at other periods of time. At any rate, we all need hobbies.

ps. Do you belong to a golf club? I know Broadmore, Seattle, Overlake (dad a founding member), Sahallee.
