One story which never ceases to amaze me was the one where one tenant complained to the landlord about water leaking from his ceiling. Seeing the water dripping from the living room ceiling, the landlord was dumbfounded as there were no pipes running through that part of the house. When he visited the apartment just above the one with the problem, the landlord noticed that the upstairs tenant was growing vegetables on the wooden living room floor. And obviously he was watering his garden regularly which explained the water problem. Vince
