Re: "I don't lay down too many predictions, but I think $120 is doable by the end of July - probably in fact. Three consecutive quarters of strong growth, more guidance, a split announcement. At that point a 3-for-1 split would have AMD at $40, with an EPS of about $2.50 - annual revs of over 4 billion and a market cap of only 18 billion."

Comment: What's more, I can't for the life of me figure why AMD is not currently trading at $120 or better! (I'm expecting a quantum price leap any time now!)

Today's weakness is solely a function of relatively small volume in the midst of a negative general market setting...As some saw this AM, with any volume surge, AMD is highly likely to "light up"...I'm guessing that once positive general markets and positive AMD news of which there is much, line up, several consecutive high volume (i.e 5 million or better) days will propel AMD into triple digits...It would only be fitting if tomorrow we get a glimpse of AMD's strength, given that it marks the the last trading day in the year since the Dirk Meyer presentation!
