Tony,

Rambus is going up because there are still only 15 million shares floating out of 24 million o/s and the stock is splitting 4/1 next Wednesday - and there are still many who believe that the Rambus technology will become the memory technology on the majority of the desktops over the next three years.

The transition to Rambus is progressing as forecast as I remember it being discussed over the last few years. Intel has chosen it because it is needed for Willy and it's successors to "show their stuff". Intel has repeatedly said that the other alternatives are dead ends as far as they can tell.

As far as I can tell, nothing has changed. We are just at the beginning of a transition - difficult but albeit just a necessary transition per the statements I've heard from Intel.

This is my opinion and might also be the opinion of the bullish buyers of the stock today at 229 7/8.

Take it for what it's worth. I'm just a humble observer and investor. My two largest positions are INTC and RMBS followed by CSCO.
