Consistent accounting standards? Hoo, boy, they ain't going to get that! The difficulty of achieving a set of standards that satisfies all parties can't be overstated. I suspect that to even begin to proceed they'll have to come up with some compromise to that. I mean, are they suggesting rationalizing conflicting existing standards with countries adopting a new set? Or only (only!) establishing a special standard that all companies will report in for the sake of this global exchange? Either way... Cheers WUWT
