<<... is to make an attempt to know where the weapons are and who owns them.>> There is no benefit to anyone in obtaining information about what kind of weaponry I have in my home...except someone wishing to do me harm. On the other hand, once you get law abiding citizens to disclose this type of information, everyone will know the extent of our individual defenses and we will remain in the dark about criminal possession. This increases our vulnerability to criminals. Makes no sense TP...as usual.
