On the other hand, once you get law abiding citizens to disclose this type of information, everyone will know the extent of our individual defenses and we will remain in the dark about criminal possession. This increases our vulnerability to criminals. Makes no sense TP...as usual.

Criminals do not use registered guns.

Every study has shown that gun registration does nothing to prevent crime and may actually increase it by making it harder for people to get guns to defend themselves against criminals.
