MORE people will die.
Nonsense, take the case of police officers. These individuals are constantly armed and confronted with many of the worst elements of society. Most will retire without ever pulling their guns outside of the practice range. In the mean time dozens of shootings are reported. For licensed armed individuals there is even less chance that they will encounter a situation needing their weapon. In the meantime dozens of shootings will occur. The publicity is never going to look good, and I'm not talking about somekind of media bias here, there just aren't that many events that occur to put a good face on universal possession of guns.

>>Statisticts simple don't back your contention up. In fact it's exactly the opposite. If people are convinced by the emotional B.S. of the Rosie O'Donels, and Americans are disarmed, MORE people will die.

You are correct.
