I believe my concerns have validity and maybe even some merit

You cite concerns over trading volumes and closing prices. Do you have any concerns over any of the fundamentals?

My original concern stemmed from learning this AM that AMD's EPS consensus estimates for 2000 and 2001 have changed dramatically since the beginning of May....and that for the first time, the 2001 estimate, in spite of being increased as well (from $3.02 to $4.42), is now less than the 2000 estimate of $4.82.

Investor hesitate buying into a stock when the EPS are not expected to grow from year to year. I hoping that AMD will provide forward guidance that will eliminate that concern.
