Hi Gene Parrott; Actually, the RDRAM channel has close to zero advantages. The one that it would seem to have, that it is narrower, isn't true when one takes into account the differing trace widths and ground trace requirements:

Total center to center channel widths:

RDRAM:1.236 inches
SDRAM: 1.176 inches
