Musings from Level II:

Based on the price action the past few days and specifically the bid/ask quotes it is my impression that the "ask gambit" may have run its course. Today for example, we saw the bid price bid up and with size with INCA being a net buyer. I believe that there is a quiet effort underway to cover short positions. Let's see what happens in the next few days.

How about that, another lithium poly battery manufacturer wins Compaq business. And Sony adding to production, already producing 1.5 million units per month. That low March 2000 inventory level of VLNC is becoming more and more significant. You can sense it happening here. Every one for themselves. Didn't Jim "mooter" g, sell first back in '97 or '98, and tell about it later? 40 to 14 is a long way to fall. Wonder who all has been selling now trying to preserve what gains may be left.

Of course, it wouldn't be in their interest to disclose now.

Independent thinking is good. Misplaced confidence can be bad.
