AMD Thunderbird processors are expected to hit the retail market this summer, with the first 1GHz processors sneaking in during the holiday season. Neither AMD nor Intel is expected to ship a 1.1GHz processor this year.

I am not sure I like this paragraph. 1GHz TBird not available until the holiday season? No more speed ramp this year?

Still they also said that Intel is one week from unveiling Willy, so I guess we can take it all with a pinch of salt?
