jerry,
I am not the smartest guy in the world but my eyes don't lie. The housing market has cooled here (just put my mom's up), I see these suv's here in Austin lined up for fill up at the gas stations...$40-$50 pop, market corrected (people don't feel as wealthy), and all the warnings. I think by the time the other 75 basis hits us, that should be it. No more needed. I think this week was just jawboning the markets to keep a lid on them for as long as possible.
This is not the old days, people (investors, traders) are much more educated and sophisticated than before the internet. Now, couple that with the speed of information, you will always have melts up and down in the markets. Uncle Al should just realize that during good economic times the market is going to skyrocket.
I cannot wait for Uncle Al to finish, he has done a very good job. I hope he doesn't focus on the market as much as he does the economy.

good luck to you,
sam

OJ, I've very seldom seen these Markets in a better GZ wiggle pattern.

GZ and the bulls to the left of me and Bill and the Bears to the right of me. Really, I don't care, and will let the issue resolve itself as my Phleet is sitting in cash; however, we got a fantastic wiggle pattern set up that is going to break in some direction.

At least, I think it is?
