Crude oil is up but gas prices aren't yet. Here in LA they're at least ten cents lower than they were a few months ago. Commodities may be higher but I haven't noticed any inflation in daily prices except interest rates themselves. Also many prices are coming down. Due to the strong dollar imports are lower. Foreign cars for instance. And electronics, computers, TV's, etc. That may be off-setting fuel prices. If interest rates are causing inflation then the Fed may lay off for that reason. They have to be careful and they know it. Oil prices down today by the way.
