Ultimately F5 will have to be taken over IMHO. There are too many companies that would benefit from adding F5 into their own mix as the net infrastructure industry matures. Consider the spiraling costs of developing new competitive products - the R&D synergies in the right combination could be huge! Plus, their product range is very narrow, combining with a complimentary company will be the only way to maintain growth at some point.
