Seahawks re-sign Brown

KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) -- The Seattle Seahawks re-signed fullback Reggie Brown to a multiyear contract Friday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brown, entering his fifth season, had career highs last season with 34 receptions for 228 yards and 14 carries for 38 yards.

We've got to assume Holmgren knows what he is doing, although he is a rookie GM. However, he's an excellent judge of football talent, especially offensive players. There must be some Dawkins-like equivalents out there at a better price than Sean.

Seahawks have got to shore up their offensive line, as well as sign their other draftees.
