Are you suggesting plotting a 2.3% upward line into the future guarantee's a certain figure? Of course you're not. It's a prediction, based on certain assumptions regarding human behavior. No one can know for sure how our grandkids are going to feel about the size of their family.

We can make certain assumptions, then create models which reflect those assumptions. The assumptions I read and buy into, sounded more plausible to me than the ones you're buying into. As a nations wealth and knowledge increases to a certain level, people tend to have less children.

I believe in the growth of capitalism, freedom and the continuation of more wealth. Further, I believe the internet will assist in the spread of knowledge and wealth around the world. Playing the game, changes the game. And some changes can have profound implications.
