Your argument that anyone who experiences problems with MS software must be incompetent is remarkably similar to the argument that anyone who was victimized by email viruses must be dumb for opening an email attachment.

This is a particularly vile viewpoint in light of the continuing MS exploitation of the claim of "ease of use". Quit blaming the victims, it's overly indulgent of a vendor who deserves no such quarter.

As "industry numbers" goes, I recall William Zachmann saying words to the effect that computer industry research is like sausage, once you find out how it's made you lose your taste for it. Or as my old high school calculus teacher would say, "Figures don't lie, but liars will figure".
