in most states, the definition relates more to the material the gun is made of versus the price or other specs...cast from a zinc alloy or aluminum...or any other alloy that melts below 800 degrees F, usually not made of steel...are produced by a small number of gun makers located in Southern California.

Swiss, I want to thank you for a good laugh. That is about the most stupid thing I've ever heard, and so completely nonsensical that you should hang your head in shame. Either a complete moron wrote that definition of a "Saturday Night Special" for Sarah Brady, or you made it up with your usual ignorance of what the term means. Either way, it is really stupid.

I bet you also think there are "plastic guns" that can go through airport metal detectors and that are invisible to the fluoroscopes. But, that sort of unthinking acceptance of media-generated terms is what I'd expect from a NYC urchin like you.

The gun you describe above would have to be a toy cap pistol from K-Mart. I'd be happy to educate you on the physics and metallurgy involved, but I'd be wasting my time; you've repeatedly demonstrated a complete inability to learn.

[Aside to anyone who may be interested: a 'saturday night special' is a made-up term used by the media in the 70's, first in Miami, I believe, to describe any pistol in a gun store window that was on sale that weekend. Usually, the guns in that category were imports from Argentina or Italy. Both Miami and LA were centers for the importers. Sort of a "blue light special" for you K-Mart shoppers. <g> Idiots like Swiss here use the term because they think it sounds smart even though it is totally meaningless. End of aside.]

I won't bother explaining to you, Swiss, that a gun made of the materials you describe would come apart in a shooter's hand if he actually tried to fire real ammo through it. You aren't quick enough to understand.

Once again, you demonstrate your dishonesty and ignorance. Why don't you give up and drop it? You clearly don't know what you're talking about, and your feeble attempts to fabricate imaginary criteria just make you look completely foolish. I'll be magnanimous; I'll accept your apology, if you offer it on bended knee.

ps-- the idea of Gary working for you is inherently oxymoronic. You clearly lack any supervisory abilities to begin with. But, should that condition temporarily occur, it couldn't last more than a couple of days. That's how long it would take for Gary to get your desk, and for you be at Kinko's, updating your misspelled resume'.
