mp3 and Warner settle their copyright dispute. It is at least plausible that mp3 will settle with other record companies as well. It is also plausible that one of the reasons for recent weakness in Sandisk's stock (aside for SEG sales) has been some uncertainty about mp3 (the format, that is, not the company). This settlement should relieve some of that uncertainty. I would look for some strength in the stock today and next week, if this speculation is correct (general market conditions permitting). Sam

Herr Ausdauer, Thank you for the links. I've read every SanDisk post and I'm grateful for all the time and effort everyone, especially you, has put into making this one of the best threads on SI. Unfortunately, I haven't understood all I've read but I'm working on it. Oddly enough, I "Get The Big Picture" but have trouble understanding the technical details so I'm doubly thankful for what's been posted here.
