ZO,

You are right Cisco stated they are on a Billion dollar run rate. This is calculated by taking the most recent quarter and extrapolating that over a year. Given that growth in this space is 100% (per Cisco "propoganda") next quarter the run rate will be $2B. I don't understand how you can believe that Cisco won't make an impact in the optical market. Yes, they may never become the market leader - but they don't have to. Cisco has the requisite technology and they are executing. They are and will continue to penetrate this space and they will generate billions in annualized revenues from it. You chose to believe otherwise so we must agree to disagree and end this little "my company is better than your company argument". It's not about the company - it's about my investment. I believe Cisco, NT, and NOK are better plays. I personally don't think much of ALA. But that is my opinion. You are free to invest in whatever you choose.

Now regarding your continued posts on Telia and Sprint. I already posted on Telia - you suggested it was all Cisco spin. Well I guess that ends that discussion as well. If I post the facts and you call it spin there is nothing that can be said - factual or otherwise - that's going to convince you that that account is healthy. Sprint - there was some portions of the business that was lost - but Cisco continues to be a major player in the ION build-out and Sprint (like Telia) stated as much. I take it ALA and NN has never lost any business?

OG

No that is not propaganda. Everyone in the financial realm uses run rates (aka this quarter X 4). You have just showed us your lack of knowledge in yet another area. Keep them coming, ZO.
