Like I said in my prior post on PPI core rate of inflation. . . we were expecting 0.1% and got 0.2%. . . and this is the one number that has not been rising steadily over the past 2 years. . . which has served as a sort of anchor inflation worries. The fact that the futures markets have responded so favorably to this number is actually a bit disturbing to me. This is not a good number. Either they don't quite understand its significance or they choose to ignore it. I guess we'll just keep this as a footnote and move on. Rande Is
