Agree. However, the operative word may be "temporary"..

This temporary increase seems to be lasting a while.

Mixed-messages from the OPEC gang, + probable increased summer gasoline consumption, may keep oil at about the $30 a barrel level. Any slight increase in oil production may only prevent gasoline from going up even higher...

As Brinker might say, watch what the OPEC guys do, not what they say...

I know, our new economy is not as dependent oil as we used to be... However, these increases will either be passed on to both consumers (& other businesses), or some profits will start to be squeezed, or both.
