Another cover-up by AlGore the Junior and "Justice":

INVESTIGATORS HIT a brick wall in a probe of new immigrant-citizens.

Gore is expected to get off easy in a long-awaited Justice Department report on "Citizenship USA." The controversial administration program to naturalize more than one million immigrants prior to the 1996 election was one of Gore's Reinventing Government initiatives. Republicans have hoped the report would show misconduct in a program that resulted in thousands of convicted felons being naturalized.

But efforts by the department's inspector general to probe the White House's role didn't get too far. Some top Clinton aides declined to be questioned. Gore declined to be interviewed but did submit written responses to investigators' questions. After all this time, it's possible "nobody cares anymore," says one GOP aide.

I believe that AlGore the Junior owns the "convicted felon" vote, hence the push to get them to vote - often illegally.
