hi jw, you're welcome for the tips. some are always better than others. i like the idea of entering the zip code of a town in the netscape location bar to get info on that town. and entering search is another fast way of getting results. "For some reason i'm not notified by Norton about the updates" nor am i, jw. i just keep checking in for updates (i think the word might be obsessing) and bring the info here when it eventually becomes available. thanks for the weekend wish. same to you! :) mark

The email includes an attachment that can start a LiveUpdate session for you. To receive LiveUpdate Email: 1 From your web browser, go to symantec.com 2 Fill out the registration form. 3 Click Subscribe Me. Symantec will notify you by email whenever protection updates are available. To start a LiveUpdate session from the LiveUpdate Email: 1 When you receive a LiveUpdate Email, launch or run the email attachment called LIVEUPDT.NLU from your mail program. You must launch or run the attachment. Simply reading or viewing it will not work. When the attachment runs, it automatically starts a LiveUpdate session on your computer. You don?t have to do anything else. I would think this would work for all versions but have not signed up yet. Will do this weekend. tc
