CNBC and I believe it was David Faber reported that ixic intermedia communications was in talks with Broadwing. It was then reported by an analyst that he felt ixic could be worth as much as $65. Then Reuters said both boards were meeting over the weekend. Both companies said they don't comment on rumors. Then later today Cnbc says that ixic wasn't in talks with Broadwing.
In any case they pumped up ixic then dumped it. Probably needed some weekend cash. SEC should investigate false rumors put out by these guys.
