Benchmarks Willamette! Posted the 05/06/2000 to 20:42 per Marc During this first day in Computex, I could throw a glance on a machine structured around the future Willamette processor of INTEL (the future " Pentium IV ") given rhythm to 800 MHz. The mother board was for its part based on a chipset i850, and used Rambus report of course. I could carry out a fast benchmark on this machine... results? With GeForce 2 GTS, 230 with the CPU 3D Mark and 4157 with the 3D Mark, under 3D Mark 2000... whereas with a PIII 600 a similar configuration obtained 388 with the CPU 3D Mark and 5136 with the 3D Mark! It thus does not remain us more which has esperer that INTEL improves " slightly " the performances of its processor before its output!
