Shorts going into last leg of trading: SCON, SCII (yesterday), ELON (yesterday), HAL, MOT, ELNT. New Longs from today: VGIN, CTIC, SNCC I will be looking at the price/volume/volatility breakouts to see if they hold out till the end of the session. Those that do I will hold, those that stay, I will add (TRLK, DDDC, IWAV, ROBV, TSM etc.)

By the way these price/volume/volatility breakouts have quite a bit of rigorous criteria (daily chart). I usually get only about 5 or 6 stocks from the universe of stocks that drop into the basket. Sometimes I change the 'criteria' to filter out small, mid cap or the reverse (just large caps or just biotechs, or electronic components etc). When I do that I get 1 or 2.

What follows is a quick perusal of fundamentals (revenue, cash flow etc) and of course news. For these scans I DO NOT use fundamentally strong stocks as part of the first criteria or I'd get nothing... Most fundamentally strong stocks will not 'sink' to the level of some of these SCON like stocks.
