You know Gary I feel the same way I give MSDW a $100 a trade as opposed to getting a better rate with a discounter.
But I get personal service and many IPO's. So in the long run they are actually cheaper.

do you use a CA. office for Smith Barney?

Gary,
I am still doing 50/50 Schwab and ML. ML's online trading has not impressed me, however they seem very eager to listen to my recommendations to make it better. Until they have it worked out, I am going to keep a little bit in Schwab.

But you are right, they are a bunch of pukes.
