t2, this buyback thing is still a big unknown. I can't imagine NY Times, TSC, Fool all made mistake in reporting as starting Jun 8. Even if July 8 is the correct date, MSFT may decide till August to start the buybacks as end of July price is what gets used for new option grants.

T2,Thanks for the confirm. I hope they had a good reason to buy that stock the way they did. Tying your hands on stock buy back for 6 months doesn't make much sense to me.
