*OT* TA, we shall see...in the earth's past, climate changes have occurred with regularity. however, i can imagine that humanities CO2 emissions could exacerbate things in the coming decades.

what i do not really believe at this time is that anyone can really forecast what's going to happen with a reasonable degree of certainty...the multitude of contradictory forecasts proves this.

nevertheless, over the past 10-15 years, we have had several record hot summers, record cold as well as record warm winters, all hinting at a growing imbalance in the earth's climate.
