I think you are right. From what I have seen, the PSOne still needs an electrical cord. I think it is a stop gap until they can realistically compete against the Gameboy. The things to watch are further innovations in the race to convergency in home entertainment. I have a feeling that a new unknown element will come up here. (That is why I asked about Panasonic). Perhaps this will come from the accessories manufacturers such as Interact and Mad Catz, rather than from the progammers/distributors such as Electronic Arts or Infogrames.
