Hello Rudedog,

I work in Lugano, Swizerland. I heard from a very reliable
person connected to a major Swiss bank today some news that
maybe you or other thread subscribers can confirm. As the story goes, there are many people within the Government that
feel splitting MSFT would be harmful for the Nation Security
and it can damage the deomcrats in the upcoming presidential elections. Therefore there are secret talks between MSFT and the DOJ to make settelment short of splitting the company! I am not familiar witht he US laws, but the little I know about the Anglo-Saxon Jurisprudence, I beleive that even at this stage a settlement can over-ride the Judge Jackson's deceision! If true, this will be a plus for MSFT and the share holders. Have you heard anything?

Kind regards

Yaacov
