Bill, Thanks alot. I was looking at the Palm IIIxe with the Minstral 3 modem (19k bps digital modem designed for the Palm III), but at least for now the coverage is not in Fayetteville, NC. I'm wanting to be able to look at real time quotes on one of the services I already subscribe to (or at least not pay additional for them). I already have 3 ISP's and 2 quote services. One of the quote services provides me with real time "pager" and "email" alerts. Anyway, if the VII will allow any reasonable amount of browsing, if I download a browser, and will allow my online banking, it would be perfect. No waits for modems to connect, etc. No compatibility issues. Seamless connectivity with decent bandwidth and speed. Thanks for any other ideas. Great to know that there are others out here on this forrum who are into the latest hand held technology. Matt
