Andreas, <<I believe institutions are bailing.>> You may be right, but If I was an institution and had lots of shares, I would short and sell. I think AMES may be very oversold at current prices. I'm about ready to push the buy button. Interesting that Arthur didn't point out that AMES and Walmart rarely compete. Ames can't complete where a Walmart is nearby. Ames is located mostly where Walmart doesn't operate, the small towns and rural areas. Yes, I know there are exceptions. Also, Ames earnings shouldn't be tied too strongly to the economy because the majority of Ames customers are on fixed income, not tied to the rah rah stockmarket. Gee, I'm talking myself into buying, slap me. <VBG>
