Tony, on Dish:

I live in the Northeast; wasn't clear from your post whether having the satellite "higher in the sky" is a good or bad thing.

Also, what about internet access for Direct v. Dish.

Both now provide access to NBC, CBS, ABC (about $5/mo), but Dish serves more areas

Be careful of this option. Ihave it and was surorised to find that they have 2 versions of NBC, CBS and ABC. One is incluyded in the $5 per month. The other is a py per view.

So far I have no idea how they decide which shows the want for pay per view. But I do know that French Open (tennis) was on NBC that u could pick up on antannea or cable but on Dish it was on pay per view. And during that time slot they had some rerun on the NBC d\channle that u get for $ 5 per month.
