The options MMs still think CTXS is going way up!

The current DEC 16, 2000 $ 60.000 CALL (bid)8.000 (ask)9.000

I was also hoping that management would have said something by now. Motley Fool was right. This drop is irrational. At least three years ago when CTXS tanked there was real news out there that MSFT was going to eat it up.

With all its other legal problems I don't see MSFT adding any new function that's all ready out there (made by someone else) to either NT (2000) or ME.

Citrix management in the past has shown little concern for short term stock price movements. Presumably, they are focused on long term growth of the company, but nevertheless I find their cavalier attitude toward short term stockholder interests to be annoying. I've held CTXS stock for over two years now and this kind of thing has happened several times. They need to hire a good stockholder relations PR person. Does this drop presage some unfortunate event in their long term business plan? .Have the benefits CTXS offers to customers changed? I doubt it. If nothing fundamental has changed (and there is no evidence of change except stock price action) then CTXS is a relative bargain at these prices. I learned long ago that the stock market is a world of it's own , sometimes with only the most tenuous connection to reality. Is this one of those times? Who knows.
This is a tough stock to own because these events seem to materialize from nowhere. I added a bit to my smallish CTXS holdings a few minutes ago. I might own more but roller coasters tend to make me nauseated.. .
