Are you using QChart for your realtime charts and MS for backtesting Yes, I'm also beta testing RavenQuotes or are you using MS for your realtime charts as well. No, I've had trouble keeping Metastock running with realtime charts. THis issue may be the known bugs that Equis has promised to fix with the 7.02 release. How well does Qcollector work feeding intraday or EOD data to Metastock? It's great for this type of backtesting. But, it's not a substitute for a realtime feed. I wouldn't try to collect the whole market, it's too slow. Qcollector works fantastically for small groups of symbols ( < 200 ) But I've had some gliches when trying to collect a portfolio of 1000. It could be great if you want to take a mid afternoon snapshot of a small group of stocks, view the daily charts and trade an EOD system.
