too bad we lost your long post, I'm sure it would be good.

When F announced that they had inked a deal with ORCL
to create a B2B network for all of F's suppliers to use,
It seemed to be the consensus that ORCL would
be playing the role that CMRC is playing for GM.

Hence, ORCL should be making software and running the
trade exchanges , compiling catalogs, engaging in
reverse auctions etc.

I need to study ORCL's latest 10Q to see what's going on.

I realize that I can study ARBA and CMRC ad infinitum, but I
should really be coming up with every plausible scenario of
why one or both of those companies may not grow into
dominant market leaders in their space. As well
as making sure that they stay there!!!

ORCL fits into the what when wrong group of potential
outcomes.

Now if we have Defrocked or Carolyn come over and start
telling us about the concept in Physics of Parallel
Universes
..maybe all of these outcomes are possible
