So basically you are arguing that OPEC members will ignore
the severe pain their economies recently suffered due to
low prices so that we can have cheap energy. I disagree.
The OPEC members are behaving differently, even if the
difference seems subtle. They are working much harder
than ever before to avoid the economic catastrophe that
their people just went through.


Basically, I am arguing, based on the previous 20 years, that countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, (two of the most notorious OPEC quota evaders), and company will be trying to profit from high oil prices by cheating on the OPEC quotas as they have always done in the past to take advantage of higher oil prices and this increase in the oil supply will decrease oil prices like it has in the past.

P.S. Did you ever check the money supply figures?
