There are some economists who believe that the economic expansion was being threatened by inflation. ..they brought pressure to bear on the Feds and the Feds acted.

The economists were correct. The fear of inflation is causing the Fed to threaten economic expansion.

RE the feds, I think the die is cast. The feds have acted rightly or wrongly and now we bear the consequences.

My hope that it will be a soft landing because I don't want to be homeless. <g>
